About this service

A midwife or paediatric nurse visits you at home during the weeks that matter most. We check the baby’s weight, feeding, cord and jaundice, and we check you too — blood pressure, bleeding, wound or caesarean site, mood and sleep. Everything is written up and shared with your doctor, and anything that needs escalating is escalated the same day.

Frequently asked questions

How soon after delivery can you visit?

From day one. Most families book the first visit within 48 hours of discharge, then weekly through the first six weeks.

Can you weigh the baby and track growth?

Yes. We bring calibrated scales and record each weight so you can see the trend rather than a single number.
